Final Post =(

This is my final blog post.
I think it's quite sad that the semester is ending. I love that class so I'm sad to be going to speech. I love Mrs. Brown and how pateint she has been with our class. I think this class is very inmportant as well as fun. I will miss it alot.
My favorite project was the name one when we had to find pictures that looked like the letters in our name. It was so cool. I will definitly miss it alot. I also liked how we were allowed to listen to music in class. That made working on projects so much easier. MRS. BROWN PLEASE DON"T MAKE ME GO TO SPEECH!!!!

Christmas

Winter

Well, right now I am hating winter. The only good thing about winter is Christmas. I don't like being so cold ALL the time. I hate driving in the snow, and running in it. However, Christmas is amzing!!! Haha nothing bad about that. I guess I just really don't like the weather that comes with the holiday.... I love the weather from inside a warm house, but walking around in it..not so much! Happy Holidays!!

Newscast

My newscast was done with Sylvia Kansfield on good ways to manage your anger. The back ground we chose is the movie poster I posted on this post. haha. Anyways, we worked pretty hard on it. I liked recording it but at the same time foiund it to be very weird actually watching myslef. haha oh well. But regardless, it was overall a fun project and I would do it again.

I am thnakful for.....

The things in my life I am most thankful for are:

Invention= The clothes hanger-upper!

I would invent a machine that would hang up clothes in your closet for you. It would save time and energy. I would sell it and make a ton of money. I would most likely be outdone by it eventually, but I like taking risks. Also, it would be foldable for easy storage. It would mpothers and kids alike happy. Mothers; no more nagging. Kids; no more being nagged! It would be genius! Genius I tell you!

Signs Podcast

I liked recording my podcast. I thought it was fun and I would definitely do it again. I thought it was kind of funnny hearing my own voice. I liked the jingles too. The cartoon chipmunk made me laugh so hard. The Alien Jingle helped me add some effects to my podcast. The final result was pretty satisfying and im proud of it

Event

The event that had an effect on me was the passing of my grandfather. It really opened my eyes to value my family. He was someone in my family that I thought would always be there for me. It's very strange now. I was so used to seeing him and now that doesn't happen anymore. It just hurts sometimes, but I'm coping and I will be okay.

My Report Card

My upcoming report card is not making me feel at ease at all. My Bilogy grade is slipping and that is very bad. I've gone from an A to a B and my parents are getting on me about it a little. I'm so sick of grades. I just want to pass with A's and go one with my life. But no, its not that easy. Bilogy is the only stupid subject I'm not getting an A in and its making me crazy! I hate sciense anyway, and this just makes it so much worse! AAAAHHHH!

My fravorite Halloween costume was when I was an old lady. I wore a blue dress, a lace jackett, white nylons, and white heels. I also had a wig and a cane. I loved that costume because everyone laughed when they saw it, and I love making people laugh. I looked ridiculous, but I was loving it! I entertained my friends with it and I love doing that. I also got alot of candy that year, so I was happy that year=)

Peoria logo

I chose the second logo. I thought it fit the city the best out of all of the choices. It had our twin towers, which I think is the trademark of our city. It also had the bridge and river. These are both major aspects of Peoria. I think all of the choices are suitable, but the second one, in my opinion, should be chosen.

haha i love this picture=) but as for the iphoto project, I'm having fun with it. However, the computer is being a wee bit obnoxious. But i like the project alot. It was quite easy to find letters after awhile. At first it was rather difficult. I like my 'S'. It's a green python and it is super cool. My "I" is a lollipop. My "E" is a tiger's stripes. Haha i like it!

As for my physical development, I'm in training for track right now. I lift weights and run about 2 meesely miles a week. Compared to cross country that is absolutely nothing! But I bench press, do leg extentions, squats, triceps, leg press, arm curls, "cheerleaders", and (I call them)swingers. I'm sore alot but I suck it up....sometimes. It depends on how much I lifted. Haha I can be a real baby sometimes. Oh well, I'll just have to toughen up! Bye!=)

Oh my gosh I love my group's newsletter. I think it turned out great! Our picturesd are very cool and the format is super funky! I'm very happy with it, but I don't think it's the best.....ok i lied! I wasn't vey excited about doing it in the beginning but now I actually am glad we did it. I wrote about Homecoming dates and I like my article alot! The whole newsletter is great!

For the homecoming newsletter I'm working with Sylvia and Sady. Haha I break the alliteration. Anyways, we are writing about the game, spirit day, twin day, the dance, and the many ways to ask a person to homecoming. I'm writing about the ways to ask a person to homecoming. So far I have heard many absolutely awesome ways and Im sure I'll get many more good ways. So if anyone was asked in a cool way or knows of a good way that they heard about don't hesitate to tell me.=)

For my intellectual development I plan on studying alot more. Unfortunately I have not been doing as well as I would have liked in my classes. I will try to do as well as I can but we will see how the year goes. I hope I do good. I am having difficulty in American Literature as well as Bilology. Haha I have always been terrible in science in any shape or form. However, I normally do well in literature classes so we shall see how that goes. =)

Im doing my saint report on St. Monica. I like power point and have fun creating slide shows. I've had alot of experience with power point so i know what I'm doing. I like St. Monica because she is the patron saint of mothers, and women. She converted her son and her husband. She was a persistant and determined woman that never gave up. I aspire to be like that.

Emotions

To nurture my emotional development I plan on being more content with my life and just being more happy. I want to be more at peace. I feel like I am always worrying about every little. The picture here is in Arkansas and I think it conveys the mood I'm searching for. I want to deal with my anger better, and show more kindness to some people around me. I would like to be more calm in track especially. I want to feel as confident as I can during the season.

For my storyboard I'm doing the song "Just a Dream" by Carrie Underwood. I love my storyboard! It's super cool and super fun to work on. It is alot different than power point, which I was great at. Oh well, its still fun!

THIS YEAR I WANT TO GET CLOSER TO GOD BY PRAYING ALOT MORE. I REALLY THINK I DON'T DO THAT ENOUGH. I WANT TO REMAIN AS CLOSE TO GOD AS I CAN THIS YEAR. I WANT HIM TO HELP IN SCHOOL AND IN TRACK. I KNOW I'LL HAVE THE SUPPORT OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Hey, whats up? Im marissa and this is my blog. So far I am enjoying the school year and love this class. We move pretty quick, but at the same time it is a comfortable pace. I love the new computers. I'm super excited for homecoming, and track season. Those are my two favorite things by the way; track and dances:) I can't wait to start posting on other people's blogs.
